Ready for Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton fight? Here’s a fight update for all you Manny Paquiao fans and Ricky Hatton followers out there.

It’s less than a month before the controversial and much-awaited Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton fight and Pacquiao declared that he is not afraid or worried of Ricky Hatton’s exclusive domain which is the light welterweight division (140 lbs).

Hatton claims that he is the king at 140-lbs, especially since he hasn’t lost a fight yet in the light welterweight division so far. So, should Manny Pacquiao fear this declaration?

On an interview with AOL Fanhouse, Pacquiao said, “I’m comfortable at 140 lbs.”

Although Manny Pacquiao is only a 126- to 130-lb campaigner, he feels at ease with Hatton’s 140-lb realm.

About 30 days before the Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton fight, there are only 8 pounds remaining for Pacquiao to shed before the weigh-in.

Freddie Roach, Pacquaio’s trainer, confirmed that his fighter from General Santos City is indeed comfortable with the weight he’s trying to achieve

“At 140, Manny Pacquaio’s gonna be happy. He’s in great shape. When Manny Pacquiao struggled to make weight, he’s not happy, he’s miserable, grouchy and all that, he didn’t fight that well,” Roach shared during an interview.

He added, “Now, he’s comfortable, he’s happy, he’s joking the whole time. I’ve got a happy fighter and a happy fighter is a good fighter,”
